Important Course Repeat Change
Starting with Summer 2012 classes, students will no longer be able to take a class more than three times if they have previously dropped the class with a “W” or received a poor grade. After the third attempt, students must take the class outside of Bakersfield College and the Kern Community College District. It is no longer appropriate to repeat a class multiple times. If you are taking a class this semester and want to drop it, please do so before the February 21 “W” deadline to avoid having the class count against the new repeat maximum.
Renegade Room Now Open
Bakersfield College's Renegade Room is now open for the spring
semester and will be serving dinner on Tuesday and Thursday and lunch on
Wednesday through May 3. Enjoy delicious gourmet meals at a fraction of

The Panorama Invitational
The Jones Gallery at Bakersfield College will show Panorama Invitational: An Exhibit of Exceptional Artwork by Kern County High School Juniors and Seniors from February 1-22, 2012. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 1 - 4 p.m. For information call 395-4616.
