The KCCD CCA is the union that represents all of the faculty, full-time and part-time, in the Kern Community College District. Some of the issues that they deal with on behalf of all of the faculty are: Intellectual Property Rights, department chair duties and evaluation, evaluation and tenure procedures for all faculty, work load size, class sizes, counselor/librarian professional activities, layoff procedures, compensation and benefits, absences and leaves policies and procedures, procedures for complaints against faculty, safe working conditions, and more.
