Planetarium Calendar Overview

Planetarium shows for school fieldtrips are given on Tuesday and Thursday mornings only at either 9:30 or 11:00---please choose an available Tuesday or Thursday morning slot with the reservation form. There are no evening or afternoon presentations at the present time. Maximum of 72 people per show.
The calendar has a very different look and feel than the rest of the Bakersfield College website! For example, you will need to move your cursor over the text lines to see which are links (unfortunately, they are not highlighted) and the BC website red-black framework is not visible.
There are two parts to the calendar page: the month view on the left and the
appointment details view on the right. Click on the appointment
in the month view to quickly scroll to the information in the appointment details
view. The month view shows only ONE of the two available slots (9:30
and 11:00) at a time. If a small yellow bar (
)
appears at the bottom right corner of the day listing, the both slots are reserved
for that day. Click the small yellow bar, to view that day's second reservation
in the appointment details view on the right. In most browsers, the particular
show, grade level, and the contact teacher can be viewed by clicking on the
little triangle pointing to the right (
)
in the appointment
details view. In other browsers, that information will always be visible.
Select the ``Back to Planetarium Home'' line at the very bottom of the calendar to return to the Planetarium's homepage. From there (and here) you will find the link to the Planetarium Show Reservation Form.
