Bakersfield College offers several assessment services:
Prepare for Your Assessment Tests
GED Testing
GED testing in the Assessment Center is offered by appointment. Testees are required to register and pay at least three days prior to the date of the test.
CLEP
CLEP (College Level Examination Program) tests are administered by the Assessment Center by appointment. These tests can be taken to receive credit by exam for certain courses at BC and other colleges. Testees must register and pay no later than the Friday prior to the exam.
Proctored Exams
The Assessment Center can proctor other exams including exams
for other colleges, apprenticeship program exams, and Wonderlic. There are fees for each of these exams. Contact the Center at 661.395.4479 for

US Constitution Test
The Social Science Division at Bakersfield College and the College Assessment Center offer an opportunity for persons pursuing a California Teaching Credential to demonstrate their knowledge of the U.S. Constitution as required by state law. A fee is charged for test preparation, administration, processing and certification.
