Steps to Request a Loan Deferment

1. Go to Manage Loans
2. Click “View My Account”
3. Create a FSA ID or Log into your existing FSA account
4. Review the “Privacy Information”
5. Confirm your personal information, if requested
6. Under Personal Information click on “My Enrollment”
7. Review “My Enrollment”
8. Click on “Add Enrollment to request an In-School Deferment”
9. Enter School Details
   1. College location: Bakersfield College
   2. OPE ID #: 001118
   3. Enrollment Start Date
   4. Add School
   5. Submit Request
